What then did we think
As we sailed out toward the brink
Of another failed adventure?
Did we see our near demise
Through wet and cloudy eyes
As we skid and pulled the reins back in?
Did we stop and stumble here
Out of nervous egg-face fear
To never, ever venture out again?
Or did we humbly barrel on
To another one beyond
And start to stretch our stronger legs?
We run and fall and run and fly
And dance and sing and laugh and cry
All to one day find our ship’s come in.
